Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá poruchou pozornosti, hyperaktivitou a impulzivitou, tedy hyperkinetickým syndromem a ADHD u dětí umístěných do dětského diagnostického ústavu. V teoretické části se práce podrobněji zaměřuje na příznaky poruchy, její komorbiditu a historii vzniku samotného názvu. Rozlišuje dvě nejužívanější klasifikace poruchy dle MKN ? 10 a DSM ? IV. Pozornost věnuje také etiologii, diagnostice a následné intervenci poruchy. Protože je práce zaměřena na děti umístěné do diagnostického ústavu, věnuje se taktéž důkladnému rozboru prognózy dětí a dospívajících s ADHD a možnostem institucionální pomoci. Nedílnou součást tvoří podrobné definice školských zařízení pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy se zřetelem na diagnostický ústav. Empirická část se věnuje výzkumnému šetření, jež se orientuje na děti s ADHD v Dětském diagnostickém ústavu v Hradci Králové. Prostřednictvím vybraných metod (případová studie, rozhovor) zkoumá četnost výskytu poruchy u dětí umístěných v zařízení v porovnání s dětmi bez diagnózy ADHD. Další dílčí šetření se vztahuje k otázkám komorbidity, metod práce s dětmi s ADHD a důvodů či způsobů umístění těchto dětí do zařízení.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with attention disorder, hyperactivity, impulsivity; and hyperkinetic syndrome and ADHD syndrome in particular. It studies children placed in a children's diagnostic institute. The theoretical part deals thoroughly with the symptoms of the disorder, its comorbidity and history of the term. It distinguishes the two most used classifications of the disorder according to ICD - 10 and DSM ? IV. The attention is also oriented on the etiology, diagnosis and subsequent intervention. Because the thesis is focused on children in the diagnostic institute, it features a prognosis by children and adolescents with ADHD, and the possibilities of institutional support. The in-depth definitions of schooling facilities for institutional and protective care with regard to the diagnostic institute are also integral. The empirical part is dedicated to the research that focuses on children with ADHD in Children's Diagnostic Institute in Hradec Kralove. It examines, via a selected method (case study, interview), the incidence of the disorder with children placed in such facilities compared to children without the ADHD diagnosis. Other part is related to the issues of comorbidity, methods of working with ADHD children; and reasons and ways of placing these children into institutions.
