The Perspective of Adolescents on Body Image and Social Networks

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice sociálních sítí a jejich dopadu na sebepojetí dospívajících. Teoretická část je věnovaná pojmům, které souvisejí s tématem bakalářské práce - dospívající, body image a sociální sítě. Praktická část se věnuje výzkumnému problému, který je zkoumán kvantitativní metodou, za pomoci anonymního dotazníkového šetření. Cílem výzkumné činnosti je zjistit jakou úlohu sehrávají sociální sítě v životě dospívajících a jaký mají z jejich pohledu dopad na sebepojetí v kontextu body image.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of social networks and their impact on adolescent's self-concept. The theoretical part defines concepts related to the topic of the bachelor's thesis - adolescents, body image and social networks. The practical part is focused on the research, which is done by a quantitative form, throught an anonymous questionnaire survey. The aim of the research is to find out what role social networks has in life of adolescents and what impact it has on their self-concept in the context of body image.
