Job satisfaction, methods of measuring it and importance for the strategic success of the enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá monitorováním a měřením spokojenosti zaměstnanců. Hlavním cílem je zjistit spokojenost zaměstnanců v konkrétním podniku. Cíle jsme dosáhli použitím sekundárního průzkumu, ve kterém jsme analyzovali dostupné zdroje informací, a primárním průzkumem, který jsme realizovali pomocí dotazníku a rozhovoru. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí. V první z nich se zabýváme teoretickými znalostmi o řízení lidských zdrojů, o motivaci, odměňování pracovníků a o jejich spokojenosti. Druhá část práce je věnována metodám zkoumání, které jsme použili k dosažení hlavního cíle. Třetí část je zaměřena na vyhodnocení realizovaného průzkumu. Výsledky průzkumu jsou procentně znázorněny v grafech. Podstatnou část této kapitoly tvoří testování statistických hypotéz. Stanovili jsme tři statistické hypotézy. Poslední část diplomové práce se zabývá návrhy a opatřeními na zlepšení a zvýšení spokojenosti zaměstnanců ve vybraném podniku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with monitoring and measuring employee satisfaction. The main goal is to determine the satisfaction of employees in a particular company. We achieved the goal by using a secondary survey, in which we analysed the available sources of information, and a primary survey, which we conducted using a questionnaire and an interview. The diploma thesis is divided into four main parts. In the first of them, we deal with theoretical knowledge about human resource management, motivation, employee remuneration and their satisfaction. The second part of the work is devoted to the research methods that we used to achieve the main goal. The third part is focused on the evaluation of the survey. The results of the survey are shown in percentages in graphs. An essential part of this chapter is the testing of statistical hypotheses. We established three statistical hypotheses. The last part of the thesis deals with proposals and measures to improve and increase employee satisfaction in a selected company.
