Karcinom prsu je nejčastější zhoubné onemocnění u žen. V posledních letech došlo díky zavedení screeningu, nových diagnostických a nových léčebných metod ke snížení radikality operací a ke snížení úmrtnosti na karcinom prsu. The breast carcinoma is the most frequent women disease. Introducing the screening into the praxis, development of new diagnostic and new surgical metods has led to a reduction in radicality of operation and reduced mortality.
