Addictive behaviour of children at the second stage of elementary school

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá závislostním chováním u dětí na druhém stupni základní školy, konkrétně závislostí na internetu a sociálních sítích. Na začátku práce se seznámíme se základními termíny a definicemi, které tuto problematiku přibližují. Nachází se zde kapitola s důsledky užívání internetu přinášející zdravotní a psychosociální rizika. Poslední kapitola se zaměřuje na období dospívání, rizikové chování v dospívání a závislostí chování. Pro praktickou část bakalářské práce jsem si zvolila následující cíle: Zkoumat, zda časový obsah a rozsah, který pubescenti věnují sociálním sítím, má charakter závislosti. Zjistit ze získaných údajů, jestli se objevují typické symptomy závislosti v souvislosti s užíváním sociálních sítí. V neposlední řadě půjde také o poskytnutí výsledků dotazníkového šetření základní škole, na které byly dotazníky vyplněny. Škola bude moci reagovat případnou prevencí, respektive výběrem vhodného preventivního programu.

Abstract:

This work deals with addictive behavior in children in the second grade of elementary school, specifically with addiction to the Internet and social networks. At the beginning of the work, we will familiarize ourselves with the basic terms and definitions that approach this issue. There is a chapter with the consequences of using the Internet, bringing health and psychosocial risks. The last chapter focuses on the period of adolescence, risky behavior in adolescence and behavioral addictions. I chose the following goals for the practical part of my bachelor's thesis: Investigate whether the time content and extent that pubescents devote to social networks has the character of addiction. To find out from the obtained data if typical symptoms of addiction appear in connection with the use of social networks. Last but not least, it will also involve providing the results of the questionnaire survey to the elementary school where the questionnaires were filled out. The school will be able to respond with possible prevention, or by choosing a suitable prevention program.
