Personality and Motivational Profiles of the Long - term Unemployed.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem ?Osobnostní a motivační charakteristiky dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných? seznamuje čtenáře s problematikou osobnostních charakteristik a motivace člověka v kontextu s dlouhodobou nezaměstnaností. Nezaměstnanost je společensky nežádoucí jev, který představuje zátěžovou situaci pro jedince i jeho blízké okolí. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Obsah teoretické části tvoří stěžejní kapitoly osobnost, motivace, nezaměstnanost a dlouhodobá nezaměstnanost. V těchto kapitolách nalezneme popis obecných zákonitostí osobnosti, motivace a nezaměstnanosti. Kapitoly se mimo jiné zaměřují na vztah člověka k práci a k pracovnímu výkonu, na reakce jedince při ztrátě zaměstnání i na důsledky nezaměstnanosti, které postihují různé oblasti života člověka. Praktická část čerpá z poznatků teoretické části. Těžiště praktické části je v kvantitativním výzkumu, který se zaměřuje na zachycení specifik životní situace člověka, která vzniká v důsledku nezaměstnanosti. Současně se výzkum zaměřuje na osobnostní a motivační charakteristiky, které jsou zkoumány pomocí standardizovaného dotazníku.

Abstract:

Thesis with the title ?Personality and motivational profiles of the long-term unemployed? introduces the readers to the problematic of personal characteristics and motivation of person in context with long-term unemployment. Unemployment is socially undesirable phenomenon which presents ballast situation for individuals and also for their close environment. Thesis is divided into two parts. The main chapters of the theoretical part describe a personality, motivation, unemployment and long-term unemployment. In these chapters we find general description of personality, motivation and unemployment. Chapters also focus on relationship between people and work and their work imput, how people react if they loose their job and how their unemployment effects different parts of their life. Practical part draws from the pieces of knowledge of the theoretical part. Focus of the practical part is in the quantitative research which is focused on collecting specific living situations of people which begins as a consequence of unemployment. Simultaneously the research is focused on personal and motivational characteristics which are researched by using standardized questionnaires.
