This master thesis focuses on a deterrence theory in the context of asymmetric conflict. Thus, the research is focused on the one hand, on the state actor, State of Israel, and on the other hand, on the terrorist organization Hamas. Predkladaná magisterská diplomová práca sa zaoberá teóriou odstrašovania zasadenou do kontextu asymetrického konfliktu.
