The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the poems of Hedda Sauer, a Prague-based German author who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The work is divided into three parts. Cílem diplomové práce je analýza básní Heddy Sauerové, pražské německy píšící autorky, žijící na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Práce je rozdělená do 3 částí. Nejprve se věnuje osobnosti Heddy Sauerové a jejímu rodinnému zázemí. Taktéž její společenské činnosti na poli kultury, v kontextu specifického kulturního prostředí v národnostně smíšené Praze.
