Nonlinear regression in the statistical software R
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáváním různých metod odhadu parametrů nelineární regrese. Metody jsou testovány ve statistickém prostředí R na několika sadách dat. Výsledné odhady získané jednotlivými metodami jsou pak porovnávány mezi sebou z hlediska přesnosti odhadu (tj. blízkosti k teoretickému řešení), hodnoty kriteriální funkce a dle výpočetního času algoritmu.
Abstract:
This thesis discusses comparison of several parameter estimation methods for nonlinear regression models. The methods are tested in the software enviroment R using several datasets. The resulting estimates of parameters are compared with each other by exactness (i.e. distance to theoretical solution), value of least squares criterion and computing time.
