Physical Examination in Pre-Hospital Care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na popsání základního vyšetření pacienta v podmínkách přednemocniční neodkladné péče. V teoretické části popisujeme jednotlivé kroky fyzikálního vyšetření pomocí smyslů. Dále popisujeme jednotlivé kroky odběru anamnézy důležité pro přednemocniční neodkladnou péči a následuje popis jednotlivých kroků vyšetření dle algoritmu xABCDE/ABCDE a jeho aplikace v praxi. Pro naplnění cílů práce byla využita metoda kvantitativního šetření pomocí dotazníků u nelékařských zdravotnických pracovníků výjezdových základen Zdravotnické záchranné služby Středočeského kraje, okresu Příbram. Cílem bylo zjistit, jestli jsou nelékařští pracovníci obeznámeni s algoritmem xABCDE/ABCDE, který je součástí interního školení zaměstnanců, a jestli tento algoritmus využívají ve své praxi. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, jestli se chtějí nelékaři věnovat více problematice vyšetření xABCDE/ABCDE na interním školení. Výstupem práce je shrnout základní vyšetření pacienta v přednemocniční neodkladné péči, ponechat ji k dispozici na výjezdových základnách Zdravotnické záchranní služby Středočeského kraje, okresu Příbram a výsledek šetření předat vedoucí vzdělávacího a školícího střediska Zdravotnické záchranné služby Středočeského kraje.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on the description of the basic examination of patients in a conditions of pre-hospital emergency care. In the theoretical part, we describe the individual steps of a physical examination using the five senses. Further on we describe individual years of history of taking medical history, important for pre-hospital emergency care, followed by a description of the individual steps of the examination according to the xABCDE/ABCDE algorithm and its application in use. In order to fulfill the objectives of the thesis, the method of quantitative investigation using questionnaires was used among non-medical health workers (paramedics and nurses) of field bases of the Emergency medical service Střední Čechy, Příbram region. The aim was to find out if non-medical workers are familiar with the xABCDE/ABCDE algorithm, which is part of internal staff training, and if they are using this algorithm in their service. Another goal was to find out if non-medical staff want to focus more on xABCDE/ABCDE examination algorithm in internal training. The result of the work is to summarize the basic examination of the patient in pre-hospital emergency care, to leave it available for non-medical staff of Emergency medical service Central Bohemia Region, Příbram region. And share results of the investigation with the head of the educational and training department of the Emergency medical service Central Bohemia Region.
