Abstract:
Kvasinky jsou eukaryotní heterotrofní organizmy, které patří mezi houby. Od ostatních eukaryot se liší především tvorbou silné a pevné buněčné stěny. Jako zdroj uhlíku a energie slouží kvasinkám hlavně cukry, které mohou zpracovat aerobní respirací či kvašením.Využití kvasinek je velmi rozmanité, hlavně v potravinářství (pekařské droždí,víno, pivo a líh). The yeasts are eucaryotic heterotrophic organisms, which belong to Fungi. Yeasts differ from the other eucaryotic organisms mainly with production of massive and solid cell wall.
