This diploma thesis summarizes the special theoretical knowledge about health insurance and reimbursement mechanisms in the Czech Republic. The aim was to assess the impact on the total amount of reimbursement from the Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna by changing the organizational structure of the monitored provider of health services.
