Účelem práce je analyzovat polské prezidentské volby v roce 2020 v kontextu debaty o deformaci liberální demokracie v Polsku. Práce se věnuje fenoménu democracy backsliding neboli odklonu od demokracie, o kterém se nejenom v souvislosti s Polskem mluví čím dál častěji, a to zejména od roku 2015, odkdy je u moci strana Právo a spravedlnost. Abstract:
The thesis aims to analyze the Polish presidential election 2020 in the debate about the deformation of democracy in Poland. The thesis is processing the phenomenon of democratic backsliding, which is being observed concerning Poland, especially since 2015, when the Law and Justice party has taken over the power.
