Public Subsidies to Railway Transport in Slovakia

The diploma work is focused on quantification of the total amount of public subsidies flowing to railways in Slovakia in the period 2001 – 2010. During these years various fault changes have occurred in the railway sector. Práca je zameraná na kvantifikáciu celkového objemu verejných dotácií do železničnej dopravy na území Slovenska v období rokov 2001 – 2010. V tomto období sa v železničnom sektore udiali viaceré prelomové zmeny. Došlo k oddeleniu dopravných služieb od správy infraštruktúry, masívnemu oddlženiu celého sektora a začala rozsiahla modernizácia tratí a vozidiel.
