Tato diplomová práce se zabývá postavením zákazu mučení jako překážky extradice a otázkou, zda je možné překonat jeho absolutní povahu vyplývající z četné judikatury Evropského soudu pro lidská práva, z důvodu zájmu společnosti na potrestání pachatele. This thesis is concerned with the status of prohibition of torture as a bar to extradition and the question, whether it is possible to surpass its absolute nature arising from the numerous jurisprudence of European Court on Human Rights, due to the interest of society in punishing the perpetrator.
