Aggression in the workplace by clients and ensuring employee safety

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem agresivity na pracovišti ze strany klientů, která je řešena z hlediska zaměstnanců městského úřadu Kuřim. V současné době vzrůstu agresivity a nespokojenosti je nezbytné, aby byli zaměstnanci úřadu v první řadě chráněni a připraveni na konflikty s klienty. V teoretické části práce je přiblížena problematika agresivity ze strany klientů a řešení konfliktů. Zmíněn je zde také právní rámec. Práce popisuje vnější a vnitřní zabezpečení, které Městský úřad Kuřim využívá, včetně systémů, a s jakými bezpečnostními službami spolupracuje. Jaká bezpečnostní opatření byla zavedena pro zaměstnance během pandemie covidu-19. V praktické části práce je uveden příklad incidentu ve formě případové studie, který je poté pomocí SWOT analýzy vyhodnocen. Autorka zde popisuje formu výzkumné metody, které využila pro sběr dat od respondentů. Z důvodu množství odborů, oddělení úřadu a počtu zaměstnanců, které denně pracuje s lidmi, byla zvolena metoda dotazování. V práci byly využity informace z dostupné literatury a internetových zdrojů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of workplace aggression from clients, which is examined from the perspective of employees of the Municipal Office of Kuřim. In the current climate of rising aggression and dissatisfaction, it is essential for the office's employees to be protected and prepared for conflicts with clients. The theoretical part of the thesis explores the issue of client aggression and conflict resolution, also mentioning the legal framework. The thesis describes the external and internal security measures utilized by the Municipal Office of Kuřim, including the systems and security services with which it collaborates. The security measures implemented for employees during the COVID-19 pandemic are also discussed. The practical part of the thesis presents a case study of an incident, which is then evaluated using SWOT analysis. The author describes the research method employed for data collection from respondents. Due to the variety of departments, sections of the office, and the number of employees who interact with the public daily, a survey method was chosen for the research. The thesis utilizes information from available literature and online sources.
