Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá anglickými přízvuky ze série "Hra o trůny". Analyzuje ty přízvuky, které jsou z různých důvodů považovány za "neobvyklé". Analýza zahrnuje teoretický i praktický výzkum týkající se standardní britské výslovnosti, obecné americké angličtiny, irské angličtiny a angličtiny mluvené ve městě Newcastle upon Tyne.
Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with English accents in the series called "Game of Thrones". It analyses the accents that are for multiple reasons perceived as "unusual". The analysis covers both theoretical and practical research concerning Received Pronunciation, General American English, Irish English, and Tyneside English.
