The Volkswehr in the Czech Lands at the Beginning of the Czechoslovakian State in Focus on the South Moravia
Abstract:
Diplomová práce zkoumá vznik, organizaci a nasazení Volkswehru v německých regionech na českém území v době těsně po vzniku Československa. Věnuje se především oblasti dnešní jižní Moravy. Fenomén Volkswehru je nahlížen i z celostátní perspektivy meziválečného Rakouska. Práce se věnuje také sociologickým otázkám života vojáka Volkswehru v době společenských změn po první světové válce.
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with constitution, organisation and deployment of the Volkswehr in german territories in the czech lands after establishment of the Czechoslovakian Republic. It focus on areas of contemporary southern Moravia. The phenomenon of Volkswehr is viewed from statewide perspective of interwar Austria too.
