The Psychology of Football Players as Part of the Social Responsibility of Clubs

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vztah mezi psychikou hráčů ve fotbale a společenskou odpovědností klubů, přičemž se zaměřuje na analýzu praxe a postojů profesionálních hráčů. Praktická část práce zahrnovala vedené rozhovory s profesionálními hráči fotbalu, ve kterých se diskutovalo o jejich duševním zdraví a přístupu klubů k péči o něj. Fotbaloví hráči čelí mnoha mentálním výzvám, které mohou ovlivnit jejich výkon i osobní život. Tato studie analyzuje, jak mohou fotbalové kluby podporovat duševní zdraví svých hráčů a jaký vliv má tato péče na jejich výkonnost a celkový prospěch klubu. Zároveň zkoumá, jak se společenská odpovědnost klubů promítá do vztahů s fanoušky, komunitou a veřejností. Výsledky této práce by mohly poskytnout cenné poznatky pro fotbalové kluby, jak efektivněji integrovat péči o psychiku hráčů do svých programů společenské odpovědnosti, a také přispět k rozvoji diskuse o důležitosti duševního zdraví ve sportu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the relationship between the psyche of football players and the social responsibility of clubs, focusing on analyzing the practices and attitudes of professional players. The practical part of the study included conducting interviews with professional football players, discussing their mental health and the clubs' approach to caring for it. Football players face many mental challenges that can affect their performance and personal lives. This study analyzes how football clubs can support the mental health of their players and the impact this care has on their performance and the overall benefit of the club. It also explores how clubs' social responsibility is reflected in their relationships with fans, the community, and the public. The results of this work could provide valuable insights for football clubs on how to more effectively integrate mental health care for players into their social responsibility programs, and also contribute to the development of the discussion on the importance of mental health in sports.
