Tato diplomová práci se zabývá historií novodobých letních olympijských her po druhé světové válce a jejich obrazem ve světové filatelii. V práci je popsána stručná historie těchto olympijských her, jsou zde představeny jejich významné osobnosti a ukázáno jejich vyobrazení ve světové známkové tvorbě. This thesis deals with the history of the modern Olympic Games after World War II and their image in the world philately. The paper describes the brief history of the Olympic Games, they are presented by celebrities and their demonstrated their representation in the global stamp design.
