Abstract:

Bakalářská práce analyzuje kryptoměnu bitcoin s důrazem na současné regulace a právní hledisko kryptoměn. Dále se zabývá otázkou, zda může bitcoin uspět v dnešní době mezi běžnými fiat měnami. V první kapitole je charakterizován bitcoin, jeho základní předurčení a popis vlastností, které dělají bitcoin výjimečným. Druhá kapitola popisuje technologické fungování bitcoin systému. Další kapitola se věnuje pojmu peněz, jeho historického vývoje, a následně zařazení bitcoinu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na kladné a záporné stránky používání bitcoinu spojené s potencionálními riziky. Dále se tato část bude zabývat aktuální situací a zařazení kryptoměn v právním řádu vybraných ekonomických velmocí. Poslední kapitola pak bude zkoumat vztah vybraných věkových a demografických skupin ke kryptoměnám, a to zejména bitcoinu pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Cílem práce bude zkoumat bitcoin a jeho současnou situaci ve finančním sektoru, jeho využití a potencionální rizika při jeho používání. Dílčím cílem bude zjistit postoj vybrané skupiny obyvatelstva a na základě této analýzy provést doporučení a možný výhled širšího využití bitcoinu v budoucnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis analyses the cryptocurrency bitcoin with an emphasis on the current regulation and legal aspects of cryptocurrencies. It also addresses the question of whether bitcoin can succeed among today's traditional fiat currencies. The first chapter characterizes bitcoin, its basic predetermination, and a description of the characteristics that make bitcoin special. The second chapter describes the technological function of the bitcoin system. The next chapter discusses the concept of money, its historical development, and then the classification of bitcoin. The practical part focuses on the positive and negative aspects of using bitcoin, associated with potential risks. Furthermore, this part will deal with the current situation and classification of cryptocurrencies in the legal system of selected economic powers. The last section will then explore the relationship of selected age and demographic groups to cryptocurrencies, and in particular bitcoin, through a questionnaire survey. The aim of the thesis will be to examine bitcoin and its current situation in the financial sector, its use, and the potential risks in its use. A sub-objective will be to determine the views of a selected group of the population and based on this analysis, to make recommendations and a possible outlook for the wider use of bitcoin in the future.
