Cílem této práce je kvalitativní analýza odůvodnění, která přikládal prezident Havel ke svým vetům zákonů. Právo vetovat zákon je jednou z ústavních pravomocí prezidenta České republiky. Její využití musí podle Ústavy prezident odůvodnit. Předkládaná bakalářská práce analyzuje tato odůvodnění a hledá odpověď na otázku, jaké argumenty prezident Havel ve svých vetech používal. The aim of this thesis is a qualitative analysis of the reasons given by President Havel to veto laws. The veto right is one of the constitutional powers of the president of the Czech Republic. According to the Constitution, the veto right's use must be reasoned.
