Context, posture, facial expression which of the clues is dominant in determining emotion.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I focus mainly on the concept of emotion and emotion recognition. I will focus on current tories about how emotions work and how people perceive them in others. The work has two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I focus mainly on what emotions are, whether from a biological or psychological point of view. I will analyze the modern work of scientists who have studied the recognition of emotions in other people. In the practical part, I developed an experiment that addresses the issue of perceiving emotions in other people, based on three clues - facial expression, human attitude and situational context. My goal is to prove that context is the dominant clue over facial expression and human posture. I will also examine the effect of the similarity of the emotions presented and the nature of the process of integrating different information sources in determining other people's emotions.

Abstract:

V bakalárskej práci sa zameriavam hlavne na pojem emócia a rozpoznávanie emócií. Venovať sa budem súčasným tóriám o tom, ako emócie fungujú a ako ich mi ľudia vnímame u iných. Práca má dve časti a to teoretickú a praktickú. V teoretickej časti sa zameriavam hlavne na to čo emócie sú, či už s biologického, alebo psychologického hľadiska. Rozoberiem moderné práce vedcov, ktorý skúmali rozpoznávanie emócií u druhých ľudí. V praktickej časti som vypracovala experiment, ktorý sa venuje otázke vnímania emócií u druhých ľudí, na základe troch vodítok- výraz tváre, postoj človek a situačný kontext. Mojim cieľom je dokázať, že kontext je dominantným vodítkom nad výrazom tváre a postojom človeka. Tiež sa budem zaoberať efektom podobnosti prezentovaných emócií a povahou procesu integrácie rôznych informačných zdrojov pri určovaní emócie u druhých ľudí.
