Regression models

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou regresních modelů. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní regresní modely a odhady pro výpočet neznámých parametrů se vztahy pro výpočet jejich kovariančních matic. V práci je popsána konstrukce linearizačních a konfidenčních oblastí, míry křivosti popsané dvěma autory Batesem a Wattsonem. Také je diskutována multikolinearita. Teorie regresních modelů je prezentována na několika konkrétních problémech, kde vybranými úlohami jsou aproximace laktačního cyklu a výpočet souřadnic vysílače v radarových měření. Úkolem praktické části bylo vytvořit program umožňující import a export dat, určit odhad neznámých parametrů nelineárního modelu s pomocí Gauss-Newtonovy metody, analýzu reziduí, výpočet vnitřní křivosti modelu, vykreslení konfidenčních a linearizačních oblastí.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with problems of regression models. In the theoretical part are presented basic regression models and estimates for calculation of unknown parameters with relations for calculation their covariance matrices. The paper describes the construction of linearization and confidence regions, curvature rate described by Mr. Bates and Wattson. Problem of multicollinearity is being discussed. The theory of regression models is presented on several specific problems, where the selected tasks are the approximation of the lactation cycle and calculation of the transmitter coordinates in the radar measurements. The task of practical part was to create a program for import and export data, to determine the estimation of unknown parameters of the nonlinear model using the Gauss-Newton method, residual analysis, calculation of the intrinsic curvature, plotting of the confidence and linearization domain.
