EU Policy on Education: Selected Aspects of International Student Mobility at VŠE

Abstract:

Smyslem předložené diplomové práce je představit vývoj zahraniční studentské mobility ve vzdělávací politice Evropské unie. Konkrétně je pozornost věnována zahraniční spolupráci na VŠE z pohledu přijíždějících zahraničních studentů a jejich percepce v rámci mobility. Jelikož tyto aktivity probíhají v evropském vzdělávacím prostoru, věnuje se této oblasti první, teoreticky zaměřená část práce. Druhá část práce se zabývá vývojem mezinárodní spolupráce na VŠE, dále pak zejména kvantitativní a kvalitativní šetření orientované na zkušenosti zahraničních studentů. Důraz je kladen také na vnímání evropských hodnot a cílů plynoucích z mobility Erasmus+ očima absolventů tohoto programu.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the development of international student mobility in educational policy of the European Union. Specifically, the attention is paid to the international cooperation at University of Economics, from the perspective of incoming foreign students and their perception of the mobility. As these activities take place in the European Education Area, the first theoretically-oriented part of the work deals with this topic. In the second part of the thesis, there is an introduction of development of the international cooperation at VŠE, as well as a quantitative and qualitative survey focused on the experience of foreign students. Emphasis is also placed on the perception of European values and objectives resulting from Erasmus + mobility through the point of view of this programme graduates.
