Social psychological distance as the means of detecting the interests and talents

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá mapováním nadání a zájmů pomocí čtyř odlišných metod, u kterých se snažíme dokázat jejich výsledkovou kongruenci. V teoretické části představujeme problematiku nadání, jeho třídění a zjišťování, dále se zabýváme zájmy a metodou psychologické vzdálenosti. Výzkumná a metodologická část přibližuje všechny použité metody, přináší deset případových studií respondentů a odpovědi na výzkumné otázky. Případové studie odrážejí výslednou kongruenci, či nekongruenci zvolených metod. Profilaci nadání a zájmů jednotlivců podkládáme v individuálních případových studiích. Cílem je pomocí čtyř metod zmapovat respondentovo nadání a zájmy. Zároveň nám výsledky zvolených metod dokládají jejich vzájemnou shodu, či neshodu v profilaci nadání a zájmů respondentů. Stěžejní je metoda psychologické vzdálenosti a sémantického diferenciálu, jejichž použití je pro zjišťování zájmů klíčové.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the mapping of talents and interests using four different methods, for which we try to prove their result congruence. In the theoretical part we present the issue of talent, its classification and detection, we also deal with the interests and method of psychological distance. The research and methodological part present all the methods used, provide ten case studies of respondents and answers to research questions. Case studies reflect the resulting congruence or non-congruence of the selected methods. We base the profiling of the talents and interests of individuals in individual case studies. The aim is to map the respondent's talents and interests using the four methods. At the same time, the results of the chosen methods prove their mutual agreement or disagreement in the profiling of respondents' talents and interests. Crucial is the method of psychological distance and semantic differential, the use of which is the use of which, is crucial for identifying interests.
