Collection of population maps in Pardubice region

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá tvorbou atlasu zaměřeného na obyvatelstvo Pardubického kraje. Jedná se o koncepci tematického atlasu regionální úrovně. Úvodní kapitoly se věnují základním pojmům a literatuře spojené s tématem diplomové práce. Dále je uvedena charakteristika zájmového území a zdrojových dat. Stěžejní částí práce je tvorba map, zpracování celého atlasu a konečná grafická úprava. V atlase jsou prezentovány tyto mapy: geografická poloha, administrativní členění, počet obyvatel, hustota zalidnění, porodnost, úmrtnost, sňatečnost, rozvodovost, přirozený přírůstek, věková struktura, průměrný věk, národnosti, náboženství a vzdělanost.

Abstract:

The present work deals with proposing creation of the atlas of the population of the Pardubice region. This is the concept of thematic atlas regional level. Introductory chapters deal with the basic conceptsand literature related to the topic of the thesis. The following is characteristic of the area and the source data. The main part of the work is the creation of maps, atlas of the entire process and the final graphic layout. The atlas presents these maps: geographic location, administrative division, population, population density, birth, death, marriage, divorce, natural growth, age structure, average age, nationality, religion and education.
