Use NIC classification system in education about breastfeeding

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjištění využitelnosti klasifikačního systému NIC při edukaci v oblasti kojení ve vybraných nemocnicích. V praktické části bakalářské práce jsem zjišťovala efekt edukačního procesu u personálu pomocí klasifikačního systému NIC ve vybraných nemocnicích. Sestavila jsem dotazník, který byl určen porodním asistentkám a dětským sestrám expertkám. Tento dotazník obsahoval celkem 62 otázek, u kterých měly sestry určit významnost podle bodů: 1 nevýznamné až 5zcela významné. Výzkumný soubor tvořil 29 respondentů, které tvořily porodní asistentky a dětské sestry expertky. Zjistila jsem, které aktivity v intervencích jsou významné a které naopak nevýznamné z jejich pohledu. Pro porovnání jsem sestavila ještě jeden dotazník, který byl určen matkám po porodu. Tento dotazník obsahoval celkem 31 obdobných otázek, na jaké odpovídaly porodní asistentky a dětské sestry. Druhý výzkumný soubor tvořil celkem 30 respondentek, které tvořily matky po porodu. Podle jejich odpovědí jsem zjistila, které aktivity v intervencích jsou významné či nevýznamné z jejich pohledu. Na závěr jsem získaná data z intervence Poradenství kojení mezi s sebou porovnala. Zjistila jsem, že u 12 aktivit došlo k rozdílným odpovědím mezi porodními asistentkami, dětskými sestrami a matkami po porodu. Naopak u 19 aktivit z této intervence jsem zaznamenala shodné tvrzení ve významnosti těchto aktivit. Jak z pohledu porodních asistentek a dětských sester, tak z pohledu matek po porodu. Intervenci Asistence kojení jsem vyhodnotila pouze od porodních asistentek a dětských sester. Tuto intervenci jsem proto neporovnávala jako intervenci Poradenství kojení. Z intervence Asistence kojení jsem po vyhodnocení zjistila, že porodní asistentky a dětské sestry považují 20 aktivit z intervenčního prvku za významné, naopak 12 aktivit považují za méně významné. Všechny aktivity a jejich významnosti jsem vypracovala do přehledných tabulek. Nakonec jsem určila několik doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The Bachelor´s thesis is focused on finding utilisability of the classification system NIC in education in the sphere of breast feeding in selected hospitals. In the practical part of the Bachelor´s thesis I was detecting the effect of the educational process on the staff by the classification system NIC in the selected hospitals. I created a questionnaire that was desingned for midwives and children-expert nurses. This questionnaire contained 62 questions in which the nurses were supposed to define the importance by points from 1- insignificant to 5- very significant. The research group was made from 29 respondents, both midwives and children-expert nurses. I found out which activities during the interventions are important and which ones are not from their point of view. For the comparison I created one more questionnaire for the mothers after the birth. This questionnaire contained 31 questions similar to those for the midwives and children-expert nurses. The second research group contained 30 respondents, the mothers after the birth. From their answers I found out which activities during the interventions are important and which ones are not from their point of view. In conclusion I compared all the data I got from Breast feeding consulting. I found out that there was a difference in 12 activities between the answers of the midwives, children-expert nurses and the mothers after the birth. On the other hand I noticed similar statements on the importance of these activities in 19 activities from this intervation. Both from the point of view of the midwives and children-expert nurses, and the mothers after the birth. I only evaluated the intervation of the Assistence of breast feeding from the midwives and children-expert nurses. For this reason I did not compare this intervation as the intervation of the reast feeding consulting. According to the intervence of the Assistence of breast feeding the midwives and children-expert nurses find 20 activities to be significant, on the contrary they find 12 activities to be less significant. I formulated well-arranged tables of the activities and their importance. In the end I determined few recommendations for the practice.
