Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Využití derivátů ve vybrané komerční bance“ je analýza vývoje a aktuálního stavu využití derivátů v Československé obchodní bance ve srovnání s českým bankovním sektorem. První část práce se snaží objasnit podstatu derivátů, jejich členění, možnosti využití a legislativní rámec v České republice. Druhá část je zaměřena na deriváty v Československé obchodní bance a českém bankovním sektoru s důrazem na celkový objem derivátů a jejich strukturu podle kategorie rizika a podle druhu.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Derivatives' usage in chosen comercial bank” is to analyze development and actual situation on derivatives' usage in Československá obchodní banka in comparison with the czech banking sector. The first part attempts to explain the essence of derivatives, their classification, possibilities of usage and legislative framework in Czech republic. The second part is focused on derivatives in Československá obchodní banka and czech banking sector with emphasis on general size of derivatives and their structure by risk category and by types.
