Analysis of Stakeholders in the Destination of Pilsen

Abstract:

Klíčovou roli v rozvoji destinace a uplatňování politiky cestovního ruchu hrají stakeholdeři v čele s organizací destinačního managementu. Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou řízení cestovního ruchu v destinaci a analýzou destinačních stakeholderů. Cílem práce je provést analýzu stakeholderů v destinaci Plzeň v přímé i nepřímé vazbě na cestovní ruch. Hlavním výstupem jsou pak návrhy partnerství vybraných stakeholderů včetně jejich kompetencí v rozvoji cestovního ruchu destinace. Autor textu ověřuje předpoklady dostatečnosti spolupráce mezi jednotlivými stakeholdery na základě řízených rozhovorů a analýzy klíčových dokumentů. Výsledkem této diplomové práce jsou autorské návrhy, jejichž cílem je posílení principu 3K v destinaci a vymezení kompetencí stakeholderů. Jedná se o rozvoj komunikace a kooperace stakeholderů a zároveň o upevnění koordinační funkce městské destinační společnosti.

Abstract:

A key role in development of the destination and the implementation of tourism policy is played by stakeholders involved in the destination management. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of tourism management in destination and with the analysis of destination stakeholders. The aim of the thesis is to analyse stakeholders in the destination of Pilsen city in direct and indirect relation to tourism. The main output is represented by partnership proposals of selected stakeholders, including their competences in the development of tourism in the destination. The author of the text verifies the prerequisites for sufficient cooperation between stakeholders based on controlled interviews and analysis of key documents. The result of this diploma thesis consists of author's proposals aimed at strengthening the 3C principle in the destination and defining the competencies of stakeholders. There is a major stress on development of the communication and cooperation of stakeholders as well as the consolidation of the coordination function of the urban destination company.
