Práce se zabývá detailním průzkumem sbírky ambrotypií v Uměleckoprůmyslovém muzeu v Praze, jež čítá celkem osmdesát devět exemplářů této vzácné historické fotografické techniky. Je zde zkoumán nejen způsob adjustace ambrotypií, ale velká pozornost je věnována též poškození či přirozené degradaci. Abstract:
The thesis deals with a survey of a collection of ambrotypes from the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, which is comprised of eighty nine pieces of this rare historic photographic technique. It describes not only the housing of the ambrotypes, but the attention is also paid to their damage and natural degradation.
