Abstract:

Při zpracování své diplomové práce jsem se zaměřila na teoretický a praktický popis provádění auditu operací. V teoretické části práce jsem zmínila témata, jako historický vývoj auditu, vznik a vývoj úlohy interního auditu, definovala jsem podstatu auditu operací, zaměřila jsem se na profil interního auditora a přidávanou hodnotu v auditu operací, také na plánování auditu operací od stanovení cíle auditu až po ověřování výsledků řešení v praxi. V samotném závěru jsem pak definovala riziko při auditu operací, podstatu řídicího a kontrolního mechanismu v organizaci, měření výkonnosti podniku v auditu operací a podstatu benchmarkingu ve vazbě na audit operací. V praktické části práce jsem nejprve představila společnost New, a.s., na jejíchž podkladech jsem aplikovala audit operací, prostřednictvím osoby nezávislého interního auditora. V úvodu jsem shrnula předcházející procesy interního auditu, jakými jsou: steep analýza, stanovení cíle auditu, určení požadovaného důkazního materiálu, vytvoření programu interního auditu ve zjednodušené podobě, zhodnocení průběhu auditu operací a zpráva auditora. Následně jsem přistoupila k auditu operací, kde jsem se nejprve zaměřila na prověření přidávané hodnoty v oblasti prodeje a zásobování (nákupu) organizace, poté jsem se věnovala prověření rizika a také prověření finančních ukazatelů organizace ve vazbě na audit operací. Následně jsem prověřila měření výkonnosti podniku pomocí ukazatele EVA a věnovala jsem se zpracování SWOT analýzy, jako podkladu k benchmarkingu. Následně jsem přistoupila k závěrečné fázi auditu operací, ve které jsem dosažené výsledky společnosti v auditu operací shrnula a vydala zprávu auditora.

Abstract:

In my thesis I have focused on theoretical and practical description of transaction audit. In theoretical section I have mentioned historical development of audit, emergence and changes in the role of internal audit, defined the substance of transaction audit, focused on the profile of internal auditor and value added in transaction audit as well as on planning of transaction audit from setting an objective of the audit to verification of solution results in practice. In conclusion I have defined risk in transaction audit, the essence of management and control mechanism of an organisation, measurement of company performance in transaction audit and the purpose of benchmarking in connection to transaction audit. I have started practical section of the thesis by introducing New, a.s. I have carried out transaction audit on materials of this company through an independent internal auditor. In introduction I have summarized previous processes of internal audit, such as: steep analysis, setting an audit objective, definition of required evidential material, creating a simplified programme of internal audit, assessment of progress of transaction audit and auditor’s report. Then I have carried out the transaction audit itself, focusing first on examination of value added in sales and purchasing within the organisation, then on risk investigation and looking into financial indicators of the organisation in connection to transaction audit. Then I have examined performance measurement of the company through EVA indicator and conducted SWOT analysis as input for benchmarking. Then I have approached the final phase of transaction audit in which I summarized results of the company and issued auditor’s report.
