Participation of the Czech Armed Forces in international foreign operations in Afghanistan

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje a vyhodnocuje problematiku nasazení Armády České republiky v mezinárodních zahraničních operacích na území Afghánistánu a rizika s tím spojená. Dále obsahuje přehled historie nasazení AČR na území Afghánistánu. Studie také využívá smíšených metod analýzy dokumentů, metody pozorování a komparace rizikových analýz. Autor vychází z vlastní odborné praxe, znalostí a také z osobních rozhovorů s příslušníky české armády, kteří sloužili v Afghánistánu. Celkově poskytuje užitečný zdroj informací a poukazuje na roly české armády v operacích v Afghánistánu a nabízí vhled do problémů, kterým čelí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of the deployment of the Czech Army in international foreign operations in Afghanistan and the risks associated with it. It also contains an overview of the history of the deployment of the Czech Armed Forces in Afghanistan. The study also uses mixed methods of document analysis, observation and comparative risk analysis. The author draws on his own professional experience and knowledge, as well as personal interviews with members of the Czech army who served in Afghanistan. Overall, it provides a useful source of information and highlights the roles of the Czech Army in operations in Afghanistan and offers insight into the challenges faced.
