Anotace:

This diploma thesis was written with the purpose of helping a learner of English with finding learning strategies which result in long-term vocabulary retention. The theoretical part deals with factors which may have an impact on learning process, learning styles and learning strategies which can be used for learning vocabulary. The empirical part helps a learner understand which learning strategies work best in order to store vocabulary long-term.
