14-3-3 proteiny jsou eukaryotické proteiny s velkým počtem vazebných partnerů, díky kterým jsou zapojeny do nejrůznějších buněčných procesů (signalizace, regulace buněčného cyklu, transkripce a další). Pro jejich správnou funkci je klíčová schopnost tvořit dimery. Proto je pro porozumění jejich funkci důležité popsat monomer-dimerní rovnováhu. 14-3-3 proteins are eukaryotic proteins with a large number of binding partners, thanks to which they are involved in various cellular processes (signalling, cell cycle regulation, transcription and others). The ability to form dimers is key to their proper function. Therefore, to understand their function, it is important to describe the monomer-dimer equilibrium.
