Awareness teenagers of HPV infection and sexually transmitted diseases

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o jedné z nejčastějších sexuálně přenosných infekcí, HPV infekci (Human papillomavirus), a o nejčastějších bakteriálních sexuálně přenosných chorobách, kapavce, syfilidě a chlamydiích. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a průzkumnou. V teoretické části je popsána HPV infekce, její klasifikace, prevence, rizikové faktory a nejčastější klinické projevy a následky, které mohou způsobovat. Stejně tomu tak je i u bakteriálních sexuálně přenosných chorob, které jsou v práci zmíněny. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit informovanost náctiletých ve věku 13 až 16 let o sexuálně přenosných chorobách pomocí průzkumného šetření prováděného na základní škole a víceletém gymnáziu pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku. Zároveň zjistit znalosti respondentů o HPV infekci, která způsobuje rakovinu děložního čípku. Výsledky průzkumného šetření jsou uvedeny v samostatné kapitole.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is about HPV infection and the most common sexually transmitted diseases. It consists of both a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes HPV infection, it's classification, prevention, risk factors and the most common clinical manifestations and consequences which it can cause. The same goes for sexually transmitted diseases mentioned in this thesis - chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis. The main aim of the thesis was to find out the awareness of teenagers aged 13-16 about sexually transmitted diseases by means of a survey carried out at a primary school and a grammar school using a non-standardized questionnaire. The aim was also to find out the respondents' knowledge of Human papillomavirus infections that cause cervical cancer. The results of the research are presented in a separate chapter.
