The kinematics of the lower limbs during Nordic walking in people after plastic surgery ACL

Abstract:

Vzhledem k narůstající četnosti poranění předního křížového vazu u populace, je žádoucí znát biomechanický dopad na kinematiku chůze a to například při Nordic Walkingu, u kterého stoupá oblíbenost nejen v České republice. Cílem naši práce bylo popsat rozdíly v kinematice kloubů dolní končetiny a dojít k závěru, zda i v této oblasti existují benefity spojené s použitím holí při chůzi. Náš výzkumný soubor tvořilo 5 probandů po plastické operaci předního křížového vazu ve věku 25,20 ? 4,66 let o hmotnosti 70,80 ? 11,82 kg při tělesné výšce 175,40 ? 8,11 cm. Z naších výsledků vyplývá, že rozdíly v úhlech kolenního a hlezenního kloubu, při chůzi s holemi a bez jsou na rovině při minimální flexi hlezenního kloubu 1,42° ? 3,77°, při maximální flexi v kolenním kloubu 4,74° ? 4,00°, při minimální flexi v kolenním kloubu 0,37° ? 2,16°, u plantární flexe hlezenního kloubu při prvním kontaktu s podložkou 1,60° ? 0,72°, u dorsiflexe hlezenního kloubu při posledním kontaktu s podložkou 1,01° ? 4,40°, u flexe kolenního kloubu při prvním kontaktu s podložkou 0,80° ? 1,24° a u flexe kolenního kloubu při posledním kontaktu s podložkou 2,00° ? 1,76°. V terénních podmínkách jsou hodnoty při minimální flexi hlezenního kloubu 3,35° ? 4,93°, při maximální flexi v kolením kloubu 3,08° ? 4,24°, při minimální flexi v kolenním kloubu 0,69° ? 1,90°, u plantární flexe hlezenního kloubu při prvním kontaktu s podložkou 0,39° ? 0,46°, u dorsiflexe hlezenního kloubu při posledním kontaktu s podložkou 6,49° ? 3,69°, u flexe kolenního kloubu při prvním kontaktu s podložkou 2,30° ? 3,85° a u flexe kolenního kloubu při posledním kontaktu s podložkou 0,63° ? 4,67°.

Abstract:

According to increasing number of cruciate ligament injuries in human population, it is useful to find out more about biomechanical impact on walking kinematics, for example during Nordic Walking activities which is getting more and more popular not just in Czech republic. The goal of this thesis is to describe differences in lower-limb joint kinematics and to conclude if there are some benefits connected to using walking sticks. Our research team is composed of 5 probands after cruciate ligament surgery, of ages 25,20 ? 4,66, of average weight 70,80 ? 11,82 kg and of average height 175,40 ? 8,11 cm. According to our results, the differences in knee and astralagus joints during walking with or without walking stick (on flat surface) are as following: Minimal astralagus flexion 1,42° ? 3,77°; maximal astralagus flexion 4,74° ? 4,00°; Maximal knee joint flexion 4,74° ? 4,00°; Minimal knee joint flexion 0,37° ? 2,16°; Plantar astralagus flexion on first contact with surface podložkou 1,60° ? 0,72°; Astralagus dorsiflexion on last contact with surface 1,01° ? 4,40°; Knee joint flexion on first contact with surface 0,80° ? 1,24°; Knee joint flexion on last contact with surface 2,00° ? 1,76°; Minimal astralagus flexion during in terrain environment 3,35° ? 4,93°; Maximal knee joint flexion during in terrain environment 3,08° ? 4,24°; Minimal knee joint flexion in terrain environment 0,69° ? 1,90°; Plantar astralagus flexion on first contact with terrain 0,39° ? 0,46°; Astralagus dorsiflexion on last contact with terrain 6,49° ? 3,69°; Knee joint flexion on first contact with terrain 2,30° ? 3,85°; Knee joint flexion on last contact with terrain 0,63° ? 4,67°.
