Abstract:
První polovina 20. století, nejvíce snad dvacátá a třicátá léta, byla velmi významná na poli výtvarné práce s knihou na našem území. Mezi velké množství tvůrců patřil i Václav Mašek, jenž se zdá být dnes napůl opomíjený. The first half of twentieth century, especially we can say the twenties and thirties, was very significant in the field of book design and book art in our lands. Among multitude authors belonged also Václav Mašek, who appears to be halfly marginalized today.
