Analysis of geocaching in the area of Brno water reservoir and the Podkomorské lesy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem stavu geocachingu v okolí Brněnské přehrady a Podkomorských lesů. V teoretické části vysvětluje základní informace, terminologii a typologii cachí spolu s historií geocachingu, jeho současným stavem a vazbou na další obory. Důraz je kladen na dopady geocachingu na životní prostředí, protože zájmová lokalita je přírodním parkem. Praktická část práce detailně popisuje zkoumané území, cache a jejich sítě ve zkoumané oblasti. Z výsledků vyplývá, že umístění cachí kopíruje atraktivní místa a turistické trasy a není potřeba zamezovat možným negativním vlivům za životní prostředí v okolí Brněnské přehrady a Podkomorských lesů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes the current situation of geocaching in in the area of Brno water reservoir and the Podkomorské lesy. The theoretical part deals with basic information, terminology and the typology of caches as well as the history and the current situation of geocaching and its relation to other aspects of life. The thesis focusses on the impact of geocaching on the environment, as the area in question is a natural park. The practical part describes the area of interest, the caches and their networks in the area. The results show that the location of caches traces the attractive places and tourist routes and it is not necessary to prevent negative impacts on the environment in the in the area of Brno water reservoir and the Podkomorské lesy.
