The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the European Parliament elections in the Czech Republic in 2004 and 2009 in perspective of second-order elections theory. This work tries to apply the revision of the original study of Karlheinz Reif and Hermann Schmitt about second order election for actor of eastern enlargement.
