Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je současný stav problematiky věkové diskriminace žen v malých a středních podnicích v České republice pro rok 2015. První část práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení některých důležitých pojmů spojených s věkovou diskriminací na trhu práce, je zde uvedena její legislativní úprava, a to nejen na české, ale i na evropské úrovni. V praktické části je pomocí dotazníkového šetření porovnán problém věkové diskriminace žen dle jejich věku a velikosti podniku. Na základě analýzy dat získaných během výzkumu můžeme konstatovat, že ageismus představuje problém pro všechny věkové kategorie, a ne pouze pro staré lidi, jak mnoho teorií deklaruje. Při porovnání intenzity věkové diskriminace v malých a středních podnicích můžeme říci, že obě tyto kategorie se s tímto jevem setkávají a intenzita se liší hlavně podle situací, kdy je se zaměstnancem jednáno nerovným způsobem, a také podle dosaženého věku zaměstnance.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the actual situation of age discrimination of women in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic in 2015. First part of the thesis deals with explanation of some important terms related to age discrimination in the labour-market. It also contains the legislative setting of this issue at domestic and international level. In the second part, the survey methodology is used for comparison of discrimination of women according to their age and the size of an enterprise. The data analysis based on this research shows that ageism constitutes a problem for all age groups and not only for elderly people as claimed by many theories. When comparing the intensity of ageism in small and medium-sized enterprises, we can say that this issue is present in both categories mentioned above and its intensity differs according to the age of the employee and also pursuant to situations when the employee is treated unfairly.
