Beer Tourism as a Subform of Gastrotourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá pivním turismem jako podformou gastronomického turismu v Moravskoslezském kraji. Hlavním cílem práce je odpovědět na dvě výzkumné otázky, zaměřené na stanovení profilu typického účastníka pivního turismu a vyhodnocení úrovně propagace tohoto druhu turismu v Moravskoslezském kraji. Pro získání odpovědí bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření s účelovým výběrem respondentů a výsledky byly interpretovány pomocí grafů a tabulek. Tyto výsledky ukázaly, že typický pivní turista je muž ve věku 26 až 35 let se středoškolským vzděláním s maturitou a průměrnou nebo nadprůměrnou mzdou. Propagace pivního turismu v Moravskoslezském kraji je podle některých respondentů nedostatečná, a to jak na sociálních médiích, tak i v dalších oblastech. Práce nabízí návrhy opatření pro zlepšení propagace pivního turismu, jako jsou nové atrakce a akce, zlepšení stávajících atrakcí a akcí a zvýšení marketingu a reklamy. Práce se skládá ze tří částí - teoretické, analytické a návrhové a v teoretické části je popsán pivní cestovní ruch, pivovarnictví a pivní turismus v Moravskoslezském kraji. Návrhová část obsahuje konkrétní kroky pro zlepšení pivního turismu v regionu, jako jsou rozšíření nabídky, zlepšení služeb a zajištění udržitelnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with beer tourism as a subform of gastronomic tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The main objective of the thesis is to answer two research questions, aimed at determining the profile of a typical participant of beer tourism and evaluating the level of promotion of this type of tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region. In order to obtain the answers, a questionnaire survey was conducted with a purposive selection of respondents and the results were interpreted using graphs and tables. These results showed that the typical beer tourist is a male aged 26 to 35 with a secondary education with a high school diploma and an average or above-average salary. Promotion of beer tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region is, according to some respondents, insufficient, both on social media and in other areas. The paper offers suggestions for measures to improve beer tourism promotion, such as new attractions and events, improving existing attractions and events, and increasing marketing and advertising. The thesis consists of three parts - theoretical, analytical and design and the theoretical part describes beer tourism, brewing and beer tourism in the Moravian-Silesian region. The proposal part contains specific steps for improving beer tourism in the region, such as expanding the offer, improving services and ensuring sustainability.
