Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou Schengenského prostoru a jeho elementům. Přináší historický přehled a současný stav. Pozornost je věnována idey a vzniku, principům Schengenského prostoru, jeho politikám, spolupráci a informačním systémům. Formou polemiky různých názorů jsou na závěr popsány pozitivní a negativní elementy, které mohou mít vliv nejen na směr a rozvoj tohoto prostoru, ale i na jednotlivé členské státy. Cílem práce je vytvořit ucelený dokument o Schengenském prostoru, který obsahuje celkový přehled a umožní porozumět dané problematice. Práce je zpracována kompilační metodou jako odborná studie, která zahrnuje odkaz na odborné zdroje a legislativní dokumenty v českém i anglickém jazyce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issues of the Schengen area and its elements. It aims to provide an historical overview and current status. The main focus of the thesis is the idea and creation of the Schengen area, its principles, policies, cooperation and information systems. The positive and negative elements described by a form of a polemic of different views, which can influence the development of the Schengen area and its Member States brings my thesis to a conclusion. The aim of my thesis is to create a comprehensive documentary about the Schengen Area, to understand the issues and reach an overview. The making of my thesis is a compilation prepared part of a professional study which includes references to professional resources and legislative documents in both the Czech and English languages.
