Education in Dialysis Patients

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na Edukaci u dialyzovaných pacientů. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí - teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část má 6 kapitol, které se zabývají anatomií a fyziologií ledvin, selháním ledvin, dialýzou, druhy cévních přístupů, ošetřovatelskou péči o pacienta na dialýze, edukací a edukací dialyzovaných pacientů. V praktické části byla zvolena kvantitativní metoda, technika dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Dotazník se předával přímo dialyzovaným pacientům v Kroměřížské nemocnici a.s. a v Krajské nemocnici Tomáše Bati a.s. ve Zlíně. Cílem dotazníkového šetření bylo zjistit: zda dialyzovaní pacienti mají dostatek informací o edukaci, zda dostávají dostatek edukačního materiálu, zda je mezi všeobecnou sestrou a dialyzovaným pacientem dostatečná interakce a zda mají dostatek informací o výživě.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis aims Education of dialysis patients. The bachelor thesis is divided into 2 parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The teoretical part consists of 6 chapters which deal with kidneys anatomy and physiology, kidneys failure, dialysis, types of vascular access, nursing care of a patient on dialysis, education and education of dialysis patients. In the practical part, a quantitative technique, the self-administered questionnaire method has been used. The questionnaire was handed directly to the patients on dialysis at Kroměříž Hospital Inc. and Tomas Bata Regional Hospital Inc. in Zlín. The aim of the survey was to find out whether the dialysis patients are educated enough and they are provided with sufficient amount of educational material, whether there is adequate interaction between a general nurse and a patient on dialysis and whether the patients receive appropriate nutrition guidelines.
