Valuation of the company PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Cílem závěrečné práce je odhad tržní hodnoty společnosti PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o. k 1.1.2020. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a aplikační. Teoretická část je zaměřena na přiblížení problematiky oceňování společností a vysvětlení obecných postupů a metod. Součástí je popis všech hlavních kroků (strategická analýza, finanční analýza, analýza generátorů hodnoty a finanční plán a samotné ocenění). Praktická část je zaměřena na ocenění společnosti PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o. za využití postupů shrnutých v části teoretické. Aplikační část se skládá z pěti větších kapitol. Nejprve je popsána oceňovaná společnost, její historický vývoj a předmět podnikatelské činnosti. Následuje stěžejní část celého ocenění, strategická analýza. V rámci strategické analýzy je provedena makroekonomická a mikroekonomická analýza, která slouží jako základ pro zhodnocení perspektivnosti relevantního trhu a posouzení konkurenceschopnosti oceňovaného podniku. Následuje finanční analýza pro posouzení aktuální finanční situace a stability podniku. Čtvrtá část je věnována analýze generátorů hodnoty a finančnímu plánu společnosti. V závěrečné páté části je provedeno finální ocenění společnosti PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o. k 1.1.2020.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the market value of PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o. as of 1.1.2020. The work is organized into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on approaching the issue of company valuation and explaining general procedures and methods in the Czech Republic. It includes a description of all major steps (strategic analysis, financial analysis, analysis of value generators and financial plan and valuation). The practical part is focused on the valuation of PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o. using the procedures explained in the theoretical part. The application part consists of five larger chapters. First describes the valued company, its historical development and the subject of business activity. Followed by the key part of the entire valuation process, strategic analysis. As part of the strategic analysis, a macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis is carried out, which serves as a basis for assessing the prospects of the relevant market and assessing the competitiveness of the valued company. Then, a financial analysis is done in order to help assess the current financial situation and stability of the company. The fourth part is devoted to the analysis of value generators and the company's financial plan. In the final fifth part, the value of the company PBS Power Equipment, s.r.o. as of 1.1.2020 is estimated using the DCF method.
