Possibility of motivation during teaching of a geographical topic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na možnosti motivace ve výuce vybraného zeměpisného tématu, kterým konkrétně bylo hospodářství Asie. Bakalářská práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením pojmu motivace a dělení motivace na základě různých kritérií, jsou zde popsány možnosti využití motivace ve výuce zeměpisu. Převážně většina teoretické části bakalářské práce se zabývá vysvětlením metod a forem, které lze použít ve výuce, dle různých autorů. Cílem metodické části byla realizace vyučovací hodiny na základní škole, konkrétně se výuka konala v sedmém ročníku na ZŠ Blatnice, kde byly využity metody a formy motivace v praxi. Hodnocení této hodiny proběhlo následovně pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s paní učitelkou Kostovou, která v této třídě učí zeměpis. Na základě tohoto rozhovoru byla stanovena zpětná vazba na možnosti motivace ve výuce vybraného zeměpisného tématu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the possibilities of motivation in a teaching of selected geographical topic, which was the economy of Asia. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part described the explanation of motivation and the division of motivation based on the various criterias. There are also described the possibilities of using motivation in a teaching of geography. Most of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the explanation of methods and forms that can be used in a teaching, according to various authors. The aim of the practical part was the implementation of the lesson at the primary school, specifically the teaching took place in the seventh classroom at the Blatnice primary school, where methods and forms of motivation were used in practice. The evaluation of this lesson was done using a semi-structured interview with Mrs. Kostová, who teaches geography in this class. Based on this interview, feedback was determined on the possibilities of motivation in a teaching of the selected geographical topic.
