Cílem této bakalářské práce je představení ekonometrických metod a modelů použitých v článku „Nonparametric bounds on the returns to language skills“ a jejich následné zjednodušení. Článek se zabývá vlivem dosažené úrovně angličtiny na výšku mzdy a nezaměstnanost v rámci hispánské komunity v USA.
