The demografic progress of the region Kadaň-Chomutov-Most in term of the national minorities

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce je demografický vývoj národnostních menšin, dále popsání důvodů, proč lidé vlastně migrují, jaké pohnutky je k tomu vedou a s čím jsou ve své zemi nespokojeni. Zachyceny jsou všechny národnostní menšiny od dob vlády Marie Terezie, které se vyskytovaly a vyskytují v České republice jako multikulturní společnosti. Všechny u nás žijící menšiny a národy jsou stručně popsány. Největší pozornost je věnována Romům, neboť jako národnostní menšina jsou u nás nejpočetnější a jejich kořeny jsou zmapovány již v daleké historii. V práci byly použity údaje z primárních pramenů, jako jsou muzea, Český statistický úřad a ročenky oficiálních institucí. Bakalářská práce je celkovým průřezem v čase a prostoru minorit, etnik a národů jak na celém našem území, tak i v oblastech Kadaň - Chomutov – Most. Získání údajů o těchto regionech bylo prakticky možné pouze v muzeích, a to studiem původních listin. Historická statistika se malým územím z pohledu menšin věnovala jen velmi okrajově.

Abstract:

The main topic of this bachelor´s thesis is the demographic development of nationality minorities, description of reasons for people´s migration, which their driving motives are, which makes them unhappy in their homeland. All nation minorities have been taken in consideration since Maria Theresia´s rule which have occurred and are occurring in the Czech Republic as multicultural communities. All local minorities and nations have been described in brief. The priority in attention has been paid to Romany ethnics as they are most numerous here and their roots have been traced in the far history. Data from primary sources have been used in the thesis, e.g. museums, the Czech Bureau of Statistics and annual publications of official institutions. The bachelor´s thesis is a general overview in time and space regarding minorities, ethnics and nations on the whole territory of our country but in the area Kadaň – Chomutov – Most as well. Acquiring data on these regions has been practically possible only in museums by studying original documents. The historical statistics has been involved only marginally in this small area with regards to minorities.
