Abstract:

Práce je věnována vývoji spolupráce dílenské a tovární textilní výroby v českých zemích s výtvarníky a jejich organizacemi, se specializovanými institucemi a s uměleckými a odbornými školami v letech 1945 – 1965. Cílem spolupráce byla výroba výtvarně hodnotných textilií. Estetická hodnota výrobku byla na základě rozhodnutí „stranických a vládních orgánů“ zařazena mezi kvalitativní ukazatele, a měla se tak stát jedním z měřítek komplexního hodnocení výsledků závodu či podniku. Práce má tři kapitoly. První je věnována dění před únorem 1948. Je v ní pojednáno o osobnostech, které položily spolupráci základy, o hlavních problémech spolupráce a o školách, ve kterých byli připravováni pro výrobu výtvarníci – návrháři. Byla to zejména Uměleckoprůmyslová škola, respektive Vysoká škola uměleckoprůmyslová v Praze (té je věnována pozornost i v následujících kapitolách) a odborná textilní škola v Brně, její „kreslířská škola“, respektive výtvarně technické oddělení. Kapitola obsahuje informace o výtvarných sdruženích, ateliérech a dílnách textilních výtvarníků, gobelínových manufakturách, družstvech, nakladatelstvích, podnicích a továrnách, které se na spolupráci podílely. Druhá kapitola (1949 – 1958) patří výsledkům záměru dosáhnout produkce výtvarně hodnotných textilií na základě udělování pokynů a poskytování podkladů – návrhů z centra, prostřednictvím n. p. Textilní tvorba, Praha. V kapitole je vylíčena tehdejší situace v organizacích výtvarníků, je v ní pojednáno o poměrech v hedvábnické, bavlnářské a lnářské výrobě, a to na příkladech konkrétních podniků. Byly do ní zařazeny informace o přínosu Ústředí lidové umělecké výroby, Ústředí uměleckých řemesel a malosériové, dílenské výroby potištěných textilií kultivaci výsledků textilní výroby. Závěrečný oddíl je věnován úspěchu československé expozice, expozičního oddílu „Vkus“ s dominantním zastoupením textilií, na Světové výstavě Expo 58 v Bruselu. Třetí kapitola (1959 – 1965) obsahuje informace o dopadu decentralizačních opatření na oblast úsilí o výrobu výtvarně hodnotných textilií. Po jejich naplnění byla většina textilních vzorů a dezénů navrhována přímo ve výrobních podnicích, v jejich ústředních vzorovacích střediscích. V kapitole je pojednáno o Ústavu bytové a oděvní kultury, který vznikl z n. p. Textilní tvorba. Posláním ústavu byla činnost vývojová, poradenská a vzdělávací. Další oddíly kapitoly patří výtvarným radám a Radě výtvarné kultury výroby, které měly dbát o estetickou hodnotu výrobků. V kapitole je pojednáno o úspěchu textilií navržených výtvarníky Ústavu bytové a oděvní kultury pro XII. trienále v Miláně (1960) a o činnosti oborových skupin výtvarníků, z nichž někteří úspěšně spolupracovali s textilní výrobou. Závěrečný oddíl patří významným přehledovým výstavám lidové a uměleckořemeslné výroby, užitého umění a průmyslového výtvarnictví z let 1948 – 1966.

Abstract:

The work is dedicated to the development of the cooperation of the craft and factory textile production with artists and their organisations, with specialised institutions and with art and special schools in the years 1945 – 1965. The aim of the cooperation was the production of artificial valuable textiles. The esthetical value of the product was included among the quality indices on the base of a decision of "(communist) party and government authorities" and should become one of the criterions of a complex evaluation of the results of a factory or enterprise. The work has three chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the events before February 1948. Personalities are discussed, who founded the cooperation, main problems of the cooperation and schools, which prepared the future artists – designers. It was mainly the School of Decorative Arts, respectively the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague ( it will be attended also in the following chapters) and the Special Textile School in Brno, its "drawing school", respectively the art and technical department. The chapter contains information about art associations, studios and workshops of textile artists, tapestry manufactures, cooperatives, publishing houses, enterprises and factories, who dealt on the cooperation. The second chapter (1948 – 1958) is dedicated to the results of the intention to reach a production of artificial valuable textiles on the base of instructions and basic materials – designs from a centre, through the national enterprise Textile Creation (Textilní tvorba) Prague. The chapter describes the situation at the time in the organisations of the designers, the situation in the silk, cotton and flax production, on examples of concrete enterprises. Included is an information about the contribution of the Head Office of Folk Art Production, Head Office of Art Crafts and of craft production of printed textiles in short series to the cultivation of results in the textile production. The final part is dedicated to the success of the Czechoslovak exposition, the exposition department "Taste" with the dominant representation of textiles, on the World Exhibition Expo 58 in Brussels. The third chapter (1959 -1965) contains information about the impact of decentralisation measures to the sphere of efforts for a production of artificial valuable textiles. The chapter describes the Institute of Interior and Fashion, which originated from the national enterprise Textile Creation. The aim for the institute were activities in the branch of development, advice a education. Further parts of the chapter belong to art councils a to the Council of art culture of the production, which had to care for the esthetical value of the products. The chapter describes the success of the textiles, which were designed by artists of the Institute of Interior and Fashion for the XII. Trienale in Milan (1960) and about the activities of the branch groups of artists, some of them cooperated successfully with the textile production. The final part belongs to important overlooking exhibitions of folk and craft production, applied arts and industry design in the years 1948 – 1966.
