Analysis of a selected IT staffing agency

Abstract:

Cílem práce je provést strategickou analýzu vybrané IT personální agentury a zhodnotit tak stav a situaci, ve které se momentálně na trhu nachází, navrhnout strategická doporučení pro budoucí zlepšení. Externí analýza zahrnuje analýzu makrookolí (PEST analýza) a mikrookolí (Porterova analýza konkurenčního prostředí). Hlavní příležitostí společnosti je aktuální ekonomická prosperita v čele s vysokou poptávkou na pracovním trhu. Naopak určitou hrozbou je stávající i potenciální konkurence a silná vyjednávací pozice zákazníků i dodavatelů. Interní analýza se opírá o VRIO analýzu a finanční ukazatele. Kromě dlouhodobého a stabilního růstu tržeb i zisku tvoří silnou stránku společnosti kvalitní tým zaměstnanců, interní systém CRM a rozsáhlá databáze. Slabší stránku představuje vysoká fluktuace sourcing manažerů. Výstupy z dílčích analýz jsou shrnuty ve SWOT matici a na závěr jsou uvedena strategická doporučení pro zlepšení fungování společnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis introduces the analysis of a selected IT recruitment agency. The goal of the presented work is to perform a strategic analysis of a selected IT recruitment agency and to evaluate its market and competitive situation, suggesting, after all, some improvement possibilities. The external analysis includes a PEST(LE) analysis and Porter´s Five Forces Analysis. Current economic situation, especially the high demand for IT specialists represents the main opportunity for the company. Strong barganing power of suppliers and buyers represents a threat for our agency, as well as the existing and potential competition. The internal analysis consists of a VRIO analysis and a financial analysis. Apart from the long-term and permanent growth of the company´s turnover and profit, there is a team of talented employees whose work is supported with an internal CRM system and a large database, which all ensures the strength of the company. The company´s weakness may be seen in a strong fluctuation of its employees (sourcing managers). The outcome of each analysis is put in a SWOT analysis. In the end, strategic suggestions are presented to improve results of the recruitment agency.
